Nikon 70- 200mm VR Ordered, But...

Sun Dec 19, 2004 12:18 am

which filter should i choose?

Hi all,
it´s official, i´ll get my new lens in about 5 days! Wooohoo!  Love
Basically i´d just like to know, if you prefer any special Filter manufacturer.
Since i just bought a high quality lens, i don´t want to put some "bad" filter in front of it.
Also what do you think: Skylight or UV? Does it really make a significant difference?

Thanks for any kind of info/advice,

Denis

If you just want protection get a good UV or Skylight, Hoya Super HMC and B+W are good ones. Their effect isn't as big on digitals as with film, so the only real use with them is for protection.
