Fotoshots In Zurich

Wed Dec 22, 2004 6:13 pm

Hi.
A question to that who photographed in Zurich (Cloten).
I want to do fotoshots there on the following trip, but nobody will pass me on the airport area. Whether tell it is possible to find a good place outside of the airport and to not cause any problems to associates?
Thanks
Dima

You might try to find some spots on my website:

If you have any questions let me know.

Zurich is a spotter's dream. You probably can't get airside (except with an airside tour), but then again: On which major European airport is that possible? There are great spots in the vicinity of the airport—it's built on perfect terrain as you have a good view on the runways from virtually any direction. When I was there police were friendly. No hassling at all. Spotting is actually encouraged: There are designated viewing areas like at the heliport, on the northern perimeter & of course the terrace. Now if only a few more 747s & MD-11s would come ...
