Need Help With Badquality Rejection

Thu Jan 20, 2005 8:08 am

I took this shot a few days ago, and I thought it wasn't too bad. But as always, it was rejected.  Smile

This also would have been the first shot of this plane in the database.

Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

first of all, it is soft. Second, you do not produice the quality to upload at that huge size, downsize your uploads to 1024 pixels wide, and they will look better.

Lastly, you were at the wrong side of the plane for this shot. The sun is too high in the sky, and it is on the other side of the plane. Either wait for the sun to get into a good position, or get to the other side next time.

So, upload this at 1024 wide, throw some unsharp mask onto the image, and you should be set!

Also rotate it counterclockwise until the image is perfectly level. Both the hangars and the buildings in the background need to be level.

Mike

It looks like the shot was taken around midday, and on top of that you were on the shady side of the aircraft. Also, the cheat line looks a bit ragged which I think is caused by heat haze. I'm sorry to say I don't think you can save this.

Edit: on the other hand, if Wietse thinks it has a chance you'd be better off listening to him rather than to me.
