This thread seems very pointless to me.
I mean that is no where near the "ultimate" kit as you put it. Everyone has different needs in their photography and everyone will need different kit.
I mean that is hardly the "ultimate" kit for a macro shooter? Or a product photographer? Or what about film shooters or even the dreaded Nikon shooter?
I know exactly how much this kit will cost from one place but it varies country to country and place to place. Oh and seriously canon filters??? You must of not used them if you are suggesting them as the ultimate kit! Try BW
or Hoya SMC Pro's. Much nicer. Why 5 different polarizers? Just buy one and swap it with step down rings. You can only use one at a time.
I have recently realised that less is more when it come to photo equipment. I have a fair few lenses and i find i am so much more productive when i go out with my 10D or my film body with a 50mm lens on it and thats it. No zooms, no flashes, no filters, no extra memory cards. I really reccomend to try it. When you are in the situation with one body, one fixed lens and nothing else you have to be creative and really does the world of good for your photography!
