This upcoming summer my family and I will be taking a trip to Nice and Paris where we have rented a villa for the first week and have an apartment for the second. From what my mother has said it will be in the town of Menton which is only a train ride away from NCE
and when in Paris CDG
and other airports are always in reach from Paris either by train/cab. I was wondering what kind of spotting takes place at these two airports (surrounding airports if you know of any) and if it's a harder area to spot or an easier one. Our flights are;

From past experiences at FRA
there will be no time for getting to the deck but that near the gates there are these huge glass windows near the taxiway. Though I will have to find a cheaper season to go to FRA
for say a short vacation or quick trip.
However, I will be in Paris and Menton for a week at a time so I hope there is time for me to go to the airport. Well I know there will but I'm a lost sole over there and was just wondering what to look for, where to go, and what to expect. Any help would be great!
If anyone knows of any other locations that would be great to see please feel free to let me know. With flights from NCE
as low as $15.99 it shouldn't be hard to get away thoughout the country for a day or two.
I shoot with a Canon Digital Rebel (300D) [Black Body]. I have the stock Canon EF
18-55mm lens, Canon EF
75-300mm f4-5.6 III USM
Lens, and a Sigma 170-500mm f5-6.3 Aspherical RF APO Lens, with 2 1GB Compact Flash cards and a Canon Extra Battery Pack. (Just provided the list in case time, distance, or any other issues might become an issue with these locations)
Lastly, can anyone recommend a good lens that would be useful for cabin shooting. I get some access into a/c both at SFO
and was wondering if my 18-55 would do the job or if there were better solutions out there that wouldn't cost me too much.
Thanks again for all your help and I hope this summer provides me with some great shooting!
