Removing Sharpie And Smudges From Prints

Thu Feb 24, 2005 9:09 am

I was fortunate enough to have Herb and Colleen sign some prints of mine that I intend to have matted and framed so they can be raffled off for charity. In the process, Colleen made a mistake on one of the prints drawing a heart or something, then signed it in another spot. Also, during the time they were at the GO, the prints accummulated several fingerprints and smudges. What can I do to remove them without damaging the prints?

I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before, but I am at work and don't have the time to do a search.

Thanks in advance,

Consider sharpie more permanent than the ink on the print. For finger prints, just use a dry rag.

Thanks UA. I had heard Herb's name a few times but never Colleen.
