Haze/Fog Low Visibility During Snow

Fri Feb 25, 2005 7:05 am

This photo is taken today, but as you can the photo is not very clear.
How can I improve such photos? I already tried to change the contrast, but then other parts will turn to dark.

Please help

Thanks,

Karlok

It's way too small, can't judge at all. Post a bigger one if you could.

Karlok,

If you have Adobe Photoshop, playing around with the "levels" will help you produce the desired effect.

Chris
There is a fine line between a picture and a photo. The latter seems to be disappearing.

In conditions like this... Pack up your camera and go do something else. Or try to get closer to the runway; the spot you were using is quite far away. Of course you can try to take the haze away by fiddling with levels and such, but it'll never become a nice clear picture, it'll stay drab and grey.
I'd say: bin it, this weekend the weather will be a bit better and try again.

Here is the link to a bigger photo size.

Eduard, yes it was pretty far away. But I also ask this question in case the visibility is so low, that even a closer position will cause this. And thus how to fix it.

Karlok,
You can't fix poor visibility with editing. After all: crap in, crap out.  Smile

Thanks, Eduard.

I was already afraid of that. Maybe next time better light.
