Bad Category Rejection

Sun Mar 13, 2005 7:29 am

Screeners,

I've send in this photo in now twice. Twice it's rejected for badcategory.
Could someone please help what is the best category for it then.

The 1st time I only submitted with CARGO category selected.
And I thought it might be I forgot to also select AIRPORT OVERVIEW.

Thus, I uploaded the photo for the 2nd time with both CARGO and AIRPORT OVERVIEW selected.

And again rejected, now I'm a little bit confused, I can't find any more relevant categories.

Thanks,

Kar-lok

It's really not an airport overview IMHO.

I'm not sure whether screeners have the facility to add a category when one is missing or inappropriate, and the categories don't always fit. If Kar-lok's photo is now accepted it will have been screened three times simply because a screener was not able to alter one ticked box.
When it is an undisputable mistake, as here with the missing tail category, can or should the screeners alter the category.
I am not saying that they should always do it, but on occasion, can they ?
It would also speed things up and ease their workload if this option was available to them.
I would love to hear from a screener on this.

it will have been screened three times because a uploader was not able to alter the correct box on the first two times.

The screening interace looks quite different to the uploading on. If a category is missing we have to enter the text manually. Simply no time for it.
There is a help text on the upload page for each category.

Do it right the first time and no problems.

Satisifed?

Peter,
Yes, satisfied thanks.
It was never intended as a dig, I merely wondered as I have never seen the screening screen.
I would never intend that you altered things as a matter of course, but as an option to do so if you chose, it might be worth considering. In the long run it might save you time.
Thanks for answering
Mick
