Help With Badcameraangle Rejection....

Sun Mar 13, 2005 8:40 am

I am just trying to understand badcameraangle...
Should this shot be rotated based on the horizon, which in this case I used the hanger or should be rotated by strip of grass behind the F-15 eagle or some other guide?

Thanks,

Ken

I looks level based on the vertical lines in the building.

There may be some problems with clipping shadows and highlights. Does anybody else notice that?

I'd level it by the strip of grass. About 1 deg CCW should do it.

Perspective has tilted everything, but the grass strip seems to run through the vanishing point, so its the closest to a horizontal or vertical line. As a side note, you put clothes on a hanger and airplanes in a hangar.

Looking at the columns on the hangars, I get about .6-.7 degrees CCW. It's a small angle, but it did definitely look off as soon as I opened it, and .6-.7 degrees CCW makes it look about right to me.

Very nice shot otherwise.  Smile

Ken

Image needs small rotation anti-clockwise.
Also a little soft on the nose.

Thanks for all your inputs. The consensus seems to be the hangar should be the guide for the horizon. I was just incorrect on the rotation.

Cheers,

Ken
