Sat Mar 19, 2005 1:30 am

I need somone to recommend a good online dealer for a 20D body, I get the great price but no inventory issues from lots of New York dealers. Anyone have a dealer they love?? Thanks!

Not sure if this is a good price but Costco is now selling the 20D Kit (with 18-55 lens) for $1419.99.

Here in the UK, the local shops can't quite match internet prices, but they'll get pretty close if you are persistant enough. If I'm spending £1000 on something as sophisticated (therefore more likely to go wrong) as a DSLR, I'd rather pay the extra and buy it from somewhere I can take it back the day it stops working for a swap/refund.

Plus the shops offer 0% finance which is unusual on the net.

Maybe worth looking at.

I've bought all my camera gear mail order from a respectable dealer and, in the case of my 10D, I sent it back and received a replacement within days. 0%... dangerous.

KC10Boom,

Check out Dell.com. That's where I bought my 20D in November and this week, my 100-400mm L lens. They offer deals like no interest for 6 months, etc. Good way to not feel guilty about dropping 1500 for the camera.
