Shooting Sunset/sunrise On The Plane, Advice Pls

Mon Apr 04, 2005 4:59 am

Hi all

My flight leaves NRT at 3:55pm back to DTW (2:35pm), anyone could suggest what seat (A or K) on 744 should I sit in order to get sunset/sunrise scene?

Thanks in advance.  Smile

Depends if you want the sun shining through your window or in the back for photography. I assume the first one?

As you'll fly high up in the north, take the K seat!

I'd rather take an A seat. From Japan a Detroit-bound flight will most likely head to the northwest, which means the sunset will be on your left & sunrise will be on the left as well.
