AMS - Which RWY For NWA Pictures In The Morning?

Fri Apr 08, 2005 5:43 pm

Hi

I would like to take some landing/approach pictures form the Northwest DC-10 in the morning in that case, when they land from the north. Is the chance better to go to the Polderbaan or to the 18C?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Regards, Andi

If they're using the 18s the US stuff will use 18R. 18C is generally used as the secondary runway during landing peaks for arrivals from the northeast and the east.
