Suggestions Needed For Holster Bag...

Tue Apr 12, 2005 12:24 pm

Ok, so I am looking for a holster bag to that will fit the 300D and BG. I have a Tamrac Cyberpack 6 for my main gear, and it BARELY fits in the overheads. I want to be able to carry my 300D in something seperate since once I get the backpack in the overhead, its there for the rest of the flight. I want to be able to have the 300D with kit lens attached so I am able to take window/wingshots/etc. during the flight. If no such holster exists that will accomadate the BG, I will take it off since I won't need much power on flights for shots and will take suggestions on maybe a smaller bag. Hope all that made sense!  Smile

Danny

Have you looked at the Topload bags from Lowepro? They seem to be what you are looking for.

Thanks guys, I was leaning toward a LowePro. I just don't know what the smallest I can get away with that will fit the 300D+BG+kit lens. I don't care about any other accesories. Thanks.

The Lowepro 75AW is great for a body and a big lens (100-400) complete with the battery grip. They come with an additional harness that allows you to wear it on your front with quick access to the camera.

Yikes, the 75AW looks nice, BUT...I don't need one to fit a lens such as my 100-400L. Its a bit pricey and larger than I am looking for. Thanks though, any other suggestions?

My suggestion is to take your camera to a shop and try which one fits the best.

I think I may just have to do that...I just like the convenience of ordering online.  Smile I'll see about visiting a couple shops this weekend.
