One thing that annoys me is when people submit "corrections" for my photos' remarks and they get changed for no real reason.
Sometimes I'll put in a joke or a personal remark that gets deleted because someone has no personality and can't tell it's a joke or is overly sensitive because of a word.
I had a photo that I mentioned Hitler in a non-offensive way in the remark. The worn paint looked just like a Hitler mustache. My remark gets edited then because of one person's or a tiny handful of people's oversensitivity. Hitler existed, deal with it.
Or the "airbus-style winglet" that appeared on a Delta 737 shot of mine. Yes, I know it was only the part of the Delta logo that made it look like that. It was a joke. I got hundreds of emails "correcting me" from people with no personality thinking I was serious. Then the comment from the photo was deleted because someone thought they were "correcting" me. At one point I was so annoyed that I took a friend's suggestion and began replying to these emails insisting the it was in fact, an airbus winglet.
I've even seen people make corrections to photos that weren't evn accurate. Saying one shot was tkaen at a differnet airport than it actually was. I'm pretty sure the photographer knows where they are.
I think the photographer should be contacted, or at least notified, of requests to change their info or remarks of their photos. Or I think this process needs to be updated somehow.
