C/F Error - Photo Recovery Help Please

Thu Apr 28, 2005 12:08 am

I'm looking for help please a friend has had a C/F card error and has about 200 photos on it that he can't download and is looking for any way to be able to access the card to rescue his photos.

I seem to remember a thread about recovering photos from a C/F and a link was mentioned to a software program that could be downloaded for free (as a trial) but can't remember if that one was about getting them after an accidental erasure or if it helped with C/F errors.

If anyone has suggestions it would be much appreciated and as the photos were from a trip he is naturally very keen to get them off it.

Thanks,
Fred

I used PhotoRescue when I had a problem like that:

I believe that there may be some FreeWare solutions out there, but I didn't have time to search and when the trial version proved that it could recover my images I decided to buy rather than waste more time.

I believe the thread you refer to is this: http://www.airliners.net/discussions...ation_photography/read.main/146649
In the first reply by JeffM, there is a link to http://www.z-a-recovery.com/digital_image_recovery.htm.

Hope this helps

Andy & Robert,
Thanks for the help with the above hopefully this will do the trick. Fortunately it's something I haven't had yet but these things are good to know just in case.
