What Happened To Charles Falk?

Thu May 05, 2005 1:09 am

Great photog, and his story about cutting thru the red tape to shoot in India was priceless.

Is he still shooting aircraft? Does anyone have a link to the thread he started about Indian Aviation photography?

The search engine is indeed a handy tool:

Thank you for finding the thread. And for the record, I did search. Looks like I did not go back far enough.

It was not my intention to sound rude - apologize for that. You sure you searched for archived threads? Searching for Cfalk India brought it up on top.

I remember my early days here when I was trying to get my 1st photo into the database. I emailed few photographers which I considered the best then asking for advice. Most of them ignored it but Charles wrote me a a few emails with priceless explanations about scanning photos and editing them up to Airliners standards. I will always be thankful to him for that.

It's a big loss that he no longer uploads.

I was rolling on the floor laughing when I read that post by Falk.
I lived in Zambia for a good number of years, and I can remember my father wanting to throttle some of the officials when trying to get peper work signed for various things. I know exactly where he was comming from.

A good read, thanks for highlighting that,  bigthumbsup
