Lovely shot, wonderful composition, and maybe it can avoid the badmotiv rejection as Mr. Unmuth did not point that out  Wink

I'll keep my fingers crossed!!

I wouldn't crop so tight at the top. Nice photo though.

Nice shot. Unfortunately it'll probably get killed for "Badmotiv" but you do have an eye for good angles.

Keep them coming.

A great atmospheric shot! Let's hope the screeners don't tar and feather it for badwhatever. Would be great to see more of these shots in the db.

I like it, nice shot. I agree with what's been said so far though, it's a little soft and I think you've cropped a bit too close at the top of the tail. Not bad for a n00b though!  Wink

I really like the shot as well, but think the screeners will not want to open a can of worms. They have rejected far too many similar shots, and if it is let in, the flood gates will open.

Should make a great print though!

EGGD

Nicely said!!!

I edited the shot from a pic that kaz sent me, very difficult to even aquire this effect as the crop needed to be inline with the badmotiv stance hence the tightly cropped top, i would have had an odd shaped pic if i had left more of a border....
Again the pic was edited from a very difficult photo and this was the best result, any more sharpening and noise would have been a big issue.

as for noob!!! lol maybe!

That was a great shot Kaz, definately should've been accepted.

I say Boo to the rejector...I don't see where they even got Badsoft from.

There is heat haze along the bottom, but there are also 4 engines churning out alot of heat which is most definately the cause.

I think the rejection was a little harsh

maybe one to appeal, link this thread in the appeal notice!!!
