Keep 'em coming.

I know what you mean about nearly every airport - me too!! I suppose I meant officially designated photography areas rather than "you can go there but we'll pretend we dont see you" ones!

The muddy pile at GLA might give great views but its not really official!

DUS appears to have excellent facilities for public viewing and photography

Heathrow - Queens Building and roof terrace closed. There is a visitor centre on the north side but is not any good for photography but is OK just to watch.

Gatwick - Roof terrace closed 2004.

Stansted - Nothing

Frankfurt has airside tours, I believe just on weekends now. Check the airport website, although those details might outdated.

Scotty,

You could try these three :

http://www.spottersunited.com
(Click the Spotters Help tab)

http://www.antonakis.co.uk/cyoaw/menu.php?air=1

http://www.geocities.com/Krayzeekris

These sites have a pretty good coverage of spotting points.

Cheers

There's a dedicated viewing park at EMA and also at RAF Waddington.

The one at EMA is south-facing though.

There are thousands of spots at airports around the UK where it is possible to view from that are legally accessible.

Does it have to be somewhere officially designated by the airport?

Tim.
