Another Rejection Question

Sat May 14, 2005 5:31 am

I just got a Cannon 350D, so decided to use it last weekend. I submitted this shot, and it was rejected for badblurry and badquality. Just wondering if someone could help me out here? I am not a good photographer, and just got started, so would appreciate some constructive advice and reasoning.

Thanks

p.s. there are not a lot of these in the database, so I thought that would help.

You can tell your camera is producing good-quality shots, it's just a difficult lighting situation I guess. Automatic light metering may have resulted in a bit of a blurry image, and the autofocus probably did the rest.

Not too sure if that accounts fully for the badquality rejection reason.

Anyway if I were you, I would see what you can do with some modest sharpening, a slight CCW rotation, and a resize to make the pic smaller. Ideally if the overhead bin had been closed, it would have looked better, but maybe you'll be able to improve it just with the above steps? My  twocents ...
