Bad Color Help Please

Fri May 20, 2005 7:31 am

Hey guys,

I got this rejection for badcolor, and most will say yes looks very yellow. But in Singapore there are very very yellow flood lights causing this, hence it is the correct color. Anyway to get it on if i explain this to the screeners?

I believe it was also rejected for badquality?

Learn to use the white balance correctly and those orange lights will not be nearly as bad.

Yeh was badquality as wel...but for future pictures. I did try to make it more light but yellow is very strong in this picture. Ill, when home, try to fiddle around to make it less yellow.

if you shoot in raw you might be able to alter the white balance, but my experiences in Photoshop tell me that trying to fix it there leads to blown out highlights...

Clickhappy, Nick,

Try Capture One Pro!
Its a fantastic tool for RAW files. You can 'easily' correct the white-balans.

My experience to correct the WB in PS was the the same as you Clickhappy.
Capture One Pro was the solution.

Cheers,

Daniel
