A Nice Pocket Digital

Tue May 24, 2005 12:43 pm

Now that I have a job that will put me out on the ramp on a daily basis I need some advice on a good pocket digital that I can get for around $200.00. I have a Rebel 300D but it is to cumbersome to take to the ramp.

I am wanting it so I can photograph operations as well as catch somthing taxing in to the gate.

Thanks for the help in advance.

If you are going to do photography out on the ramp, make sure you clear it with your employer. Get something in writing if you can, just in case. There are some people who have been in serious trouble for taking photographs while at work airside.

Best regards,

Erm, is this thing on?

Have a look at DP Review
and see which came suits your needs.

Good luck!

Get a canon ixus i5. Really good little cameras, tiny, only downside is no optical zoom. But great to use nevertheless.
