Quoting Thom@s (Reply 7):
Will the same apply for those photographing at Sunderland Air show?
Errr... good idea to put that text into the remark field, but sorry, no priority screening for that.
Quoting Javibi (Reply 3):
Peter, are you gonna implement priority screening for the Airshow?
Quoting Airplanepics (Reply 5):
Could the screeners priority screen all photos for the whole show, for those people who can only go on the public days?
Yes, priority screening will apply, from the very first image we receive, up to some arbitrary point when we'll stop priority screening them and revert to normal queue processing. Obviously we cannot continue to priority screen all Paris Air Show images for 3 months after the show, but conversely 3 days may be a little too short.
Don't forget that the priority screening and banner news is there for one reason alone - to provide our visitors with high-quality imagery of the hottest news. The "arbitrary" threshold will be reached when the images are no longer "hot news".
Sorry I could not be more precise, but we'll play it by ear during the show. We will not intentionally deny people from priority screening, but then again we want to keep all the other 10,000s of photographers and airports covered (with screenings) during the air show too...
