Is This Photo Worth For A.net Standars?

Wed Jun 15, 2005 3:30 pm

Hello guys.

I took this photo in a short visit to Toluca Mex. airport, Fedex its bringing his DC-10 instead of the A300 but I took it with not the optimal light conditions, with the sun hiding in my back, after a few post-processing it came out the final photo, do you think it has a chance here in a.net???

Ill apreciate the comments.
Regards

Too sharp. Less sharpening and it may have a chance.
I think it would get badlevel as well.
A bit of CCW rotation.

Look fine to me, look at the lamp post to the left of the picture.

I think you could save it for A.net if you remove the jaggies from the stabilizer and around the Fedex titles, did you sharpen via duplicate layer? Did you use any noise reduction program?

And I don't understand why you complain about the light, it is beautiful!  Smile

How does this work, and what is the advantage of sharpening via duplicate layer?

When you are finished with your level, etc. adjustments and have made the final crop, create a new layer via duplicate the background layer and apply the USM sharpening to this new layer. That way you can fine tune the sharpening via changing the opacity of the "background copy" layer and remove the jaggies (if any) using the eraser tool on that layer. Did I make sense?
