Photo Usage On A Non-commercial Website?

Mon Jun 27, 2005 7:11 pm

Hello, I am currently developing a personal website on the subject of UK aviation. And I am hoping to put a few pictures on this website when it is ready. What I would like to know is, would you charge for use of your photo if I e-mailed you and asked to use it, or would you settle for full credits and links to your website/photos on a.net?
The website is being developed purely as a hobby, and I don't have any cash to pay if payment is required.
Cheers.

If it's non-commercial I doubt many people would demand a fee, but of course would require that you ask for permission, and typically a credit.

It takes a big man to admit they are wrong, and I am not a big man.

Cheers for the response.
Naturally, I would e-mail in advance to ask for permission and also to give details of my website and why I would like to use the photo, and also full credit and links to the photographers home page.
