Cleaning The Sensor On My 300D

Wed Jun 29, 2005 11:10 pm

I realised that there are several dust spots on my camera's sensor. I cleaned the lenses so that's good now. However I was wondering, how exactly would you clean the sensor of the camera. Is there another way than using cotton swabs?

Cheers,
Sebastian

You've got to use either Sensor Swabs or Digi-pads, along with some eclipse fluid.

This is simple enough in principle, but you may need to do it more than once. It's worth buying some pec-pads too as you can then reuse the swab sticks. Treat the sensor face (actually the filter face) like you would any piece of glass and you'll be okay.
