The above photo was accepted about a week ago, so I decided to upload another two similar photos as the first one was a bench mark for them. These were now rejected for bad dark. I am unsure why as I feel that they are of the same or higher quality as of the accepted one. I have very little faith in the appeal system so I would like to ask for some friendly but critical advice on these rejected photos and wehether I should appeal them.
Your help is appreciated.  bigthumbsup

Fergul,

Seems an odd rejection reason. The lighting isn't quite optimal, but the exposure seems okay to me. Perhaps there was another reason?

Cheers

Fergul,

All I can think of is that the images show the shadowed side of the aircraft, ("backlit"), but it is a moot point.

Look at the aircraft shadow on the ground.

Thanks James and Viv

I agree and accept that these are backlit, but that's why I uploaded the first one as that was going to serve as my bench mark. It was accepted. I do feel that although they are backlit there is enough light to show all the detail on the shadow side and that I got my exposure correct and it's not too dark/backlit.

Take care
