Climactic Photographic Moment For Me

Sun Jul 03, 2005 1:59 pm

I did something last week that was very exciting for me.

This is one of my favorite photos of mine:

Well, I went up to the top of the Empire State Building and zoomed in towards LGA to do some long-range spotting. I saw a chance and took a shot. The same exact photo....but from the other side:

Note the park behind the plane, the same spot that I took the original photo, and the Chrysler Building spire.

Maybe strange, but very exciting for me.  Smile

That is pretty sweet. Interesting that it is the same from both angles. I really like the photo on too. Just a side note, when I was in Boston I went to the top of the Prudential Building and BOS can be seen quite well. If anyone has a Bigma 500mm or similar I think good photos could come out of it on a nice day. Anyway, congrats on the photos.

Phil, if that's what makes you climax...  Wow! Each to their own I suppose!  Wink

Definately a bad distance rejection in the making  laughing

Great shot Phil, what a cool experience that must have been!

I'm glad I wasn't in your presence when you had your climax, Phil.  Smile

Cool shot, though. Good job.

Is that a prison on the left hand side of the airport?
It looks like its connected with the light stands of the runway.

I hope you had clean clothes at hand when your climax happened...
