Anyone Been To Bogotá?

Thu Jul 07, 2005 8:19 am

I have the pleasure of a holiday on the north coast of Colombia next month. As the Iberia flight I am taking arrives after the last flight from BOG to MTR (Monteria), I have an afternoon to kill and an overnight in Bogotá.

I have been looking in the photos database, and I can only see one name I recognise, Mr Javibi.

Any chance on some info on the locations for photographing the very underphotographed colombian aviation scene?

Cheers

The impression I got from Bogota was to be VERY careful.

Jan, I think that is a very reasonable impression to have!

I have many more pictures taken in Bogota but have not scanned them [yet]. I would be happy to discuss (albeit my experience is from 8 years ago) one-to-one, not on this forum.

visited SKBO in 2001 and it was nice. The airport was nice as we flew on American Airlines. All I can remember is a sign saying "No photography from inside the International terminal."
