Hi,

Yesterday evening I went down to AMS to the famous spotting spot at the head of runway 36L.

I spoke to somebody there, and he said that maybe they are going to make a wall of sand here, to reduce noise for the neighbours.

Does anyone know about this? Is this true?

It would be a great shame if this spot would not be accesable anymore. It would be great if they make a wall where you can walk on.

Steven.

AMS construction will never stop. Spots come, spots go... Not much you can do about it. One day the 06-24 spottersplaats will be gone too to make room for more cargo facilities and the 18L/36R will get a fence all around it. Until that time, enjoy taking your pictures while you still can...
