Is This Badlevel?

Mon Jul 18, 2005 9:53 am

My eyes are going funny. Is a CW rotation needed on this one?

Goran,

They look pretty damn close to me, I used PS measure tool in a couple of places, for the Polynesian I used near edge of runway and yellow edge of tower elevator shaft and got a 0deg rotate.

Get those Polynesian shots while you can, before Sir Richard & Mr Corrigan turn them red!!!

Regards

Chris

Thanks Chris
I think it's the staircase on the tower thats throwing me off. Bloody optical illusions.

Cannot see any level problems to any (major) effect

These photos should have been considered fine for a.net
only my thoughts though the bottom one is slightly worse than the top (noticeably).

Thanks,

Thanks Aaron. They haven't been rejected yet though. Still in the queue.

1. rotate CCW, not CW... (use the lift shaft for levelling)
2. looks alright...

Hi Goran.

As ever, I enjoy these threads and the challenge.

I am with Ed on this one - the first not only looks to me like it needs a bit of CCW rotation, but by using the left edge of the 'body' of the tower, I have it needing about 0.5 degrees. This is an example where the amounts are very small but it does make a difference to the eye. I tried the alteration and it definitely looks right after the rotation.

Using that same reference, the second photo is spot on.

All the best.

Paul
