It was not "officially" open to the public. The newspaper ran a story about it and a lot of people showed up. Just a handful got on the ramp. Lots more than they had wanted. We know the manager of the FBO where they stopped. They wanted a shot or two of the aircraft in front of their hangar so we worked out a photo for ramp access trade.
I have a shot in the queue of it taxiing in from atop the hangar. It was a HOT
one up there! 102F on the ground....you figure out what it would be on a metal hangar roof! LOL It was a fun 2 days!
