Good Photoshop Tutorials?

Sun Aug 07, 2005 4:30 am

Do you know any good websites with Photoshop tutorials or tips and tricks? I browsed Google for some, but most of them weren't too exciting so I wondered if any of the photographers here have the one or the other link in their browser favorites.

Cheers

Hello Lukas...

You can find many tips and tricks, I normally learn the tricks by myself...

In photoshop you can find some turorials that can help you...

Here are some links:

http://www.graphic-design.com/Photoshop/Tips/index.html

http://www.heathrowe.com/tutorials.asp

http://www.eyewire.com/tips/photoshop/index.htm

They are not great links....but Anyway good luck...

http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/workflow1.shtml is pretty good.
Best thing to do though is buying yourself a book like the one from Academic Service written by Deke McClelland, your wallet is going to suffer but there is nothing better out there.

Thanks for the good input so far.  Smile

@Aviopic: I have looked at several PS books recently but I've used the program for years and know almost 80-90% of the steps that are in the books so I'm just looking for a little fine-tuning or short cuts. But I really don't want to spend 50EUR for a huge book that only gives me a few tricks.

A few tricks  Confused haha this book is not about a few tricks but better known as the PS Bible, it contains all the fine tuning you wish.

Thanks okay, then I'll have a look at that one.   At least all the books I have looked at were pretty plain.

Lukas

edit: There are several books on Photoshop by this guy. Which one did you mean specifically?

This is the one:
http://eu.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-0764541781.html

Enough useful material to keep you studying for the next couple of years.
I am still working on the previous edition(PS7) of the same book as I have done for the last 2 years and still finding new things and possibilities eventhough I am working with PS since version 2.0
