Which Color Profile To Use For Your Screen?

Tue Aug 16, 2005 5:41 am

Hi everyone,

I just got done editing a couple of photos, and I wanted to submit them. Since my machine is not connected to the internet I went on my brother's to upload them. When I looked at them on his screen they were way brighter than on mine. Since the gear for example was so dark on mine I used the dodge tool a little just so you could see some detail. On his screen however, it looks like the dodge tool has been overused. No I'm confused as which color profile to use. I mean, what do the screeners use for example? Do they all use the same profile for their monitor?

Cheers
Sebastian
