This Makes It All Worthwhile

Wed Aug 17, 2005 8:08 am

I was contacted by a nice Martinaire pilot who was in the left seat on a landing at DFW. He wanted to know if I would provide him a high-res copy of the shot so he could hang it in his house. I gladly provided it and today he sent me this:

You know the gear is up and locked when it takes full throttle to taxi to the terminal.

So maybe you should frame his photo and hang it on your wall! Big grin

Very nice. One slight correction though: there's a small difference between Martinair and Martinaire:

Yeah, I wondered about that. I always thought the big cargo outfit was Martinaire, but then I looked at how they spelled it on the fuselage...and they don't put the "e" on the end....go figure.

I've had lots of success selling prints to pilots. Congrats on a fine photo!
