Level Rejections-help Please

Thu Aug 25, 2005 10:06 pm

Afternoon all,

Just after a bit of help with a couple of level rejections.

For the control tower shot I used the main upright of the tower for level but this has made the left hand top side look unlevel.

Hi Simon,

I've just opened the top image up within PS and measured the tower, it seems as though it is level. I measured the right-hand side of the cylindrical tower, the centre most part of the image.

Edit: Maybe it is an optical illusion due to the left-hand side of the image being dark and the right-hand side bright...?

The A340 shot looks level but because of the harsh light it looks very dark in the lower third of the image.

Ian.

If I could just get the afterburner working...

Maybe there is some optical effect in both, because I'd give them both a very slight CW rotation (probably less than 1 degree). Even though they may be perfectly level, its just seems a tiny little bit off to me.

I like them Simon. They look very level on my monitor!
