Calling All MCO Photographers!

Sat Aug 27, 2005 12:26 am

Hey guys,

I'm off on my yearly trip to Orlando to come see some friends and enjoy the sunshine state!

This year i'm going to have a few days free and well since the GF isnt there this year i have some time to do some shooting at MCO. From what i've heard MCO isnt the most spotter friendly place, but i've had a look and seen some good recent stuff from there.

So if anyone is gonna be free on the.... 6th/7th/8th/9th September then please get in touch! Would be good to meet some locals.

My msn is chris78cpr@hotmail . com or you can contact me through my profile on here.

Cheers, Chris

Hey Chris. I'll be out there on the 11th but unfortunately that's after you leave. Before all the haters come about, yes MCO is difficult but not impossible. What kind of lens and camera do you have? You will probably need about 250mm or more to get decent full frame shots. I'll reply later in regards to spots and I'll try to email you my list of spots.

I forgot, I will be available the 9th after 3pm to shoot some stuff. I am picking up a photographer friend at the airport at 10pm. So I could chill from 3ish till sunset pending weather. Then I would hang out till my friend arrives into MCO. Wish I could show you around at an earlier date (like the 6th or 7th) but I have school and work every night probably. Let me know if the the afternoon of the 9th is doable for you.

Oops didn't notice that. Well, bring the 100-400 for sure.

Hey Justin,

Yeah if you were free the 9th that would be awesome. I'm actually arriving into MCO on the 3rd and staying until the 12th but im spending some time with one of my best friends the other days. She's at college on the days i mentioned tho which means i'm all good for shooting. Drop me an email and maybe we can talk some more about the 9th!

Just had a look at your shots and they are awesome! Looks to be some interesting angles there. And the best thing is it's loads of traffic that i dont get to see often! Big grin

My plan was to bring.... 1dmkii/15mm/17-40/120-300 and a 1.4. Or i might bring the 100-400 instead of the 120-300. What do you guys think?

Cheers, Chris
