it was stated that a preserved aircraft should be uploaded under whatever registration it carries, even if it is a fake display reg, not the real reg it might have borne. This is course the precise opposite of the policy for active warbirds. As a result I was advised to upload the Bf 109 shot below under the werk number of 10639 even though other photos of this aircraft had been uploaded under its former civil registration G-USTV

Now, however, the reg of my shot has been changed to G-USTV
. Has the policy changed after all? I'm asking because the same situation may arise again. In particular, there's a P-51D at Hendon which bears a fake display reg but used to fly as N51RT. Should I use the latter if I upload any shots of it?
