Puzzled By Rejection

Sun Oct 02, 2005 3:09 am

Hello all,

This rejection has puzzled me a bit. It was rejected for NOA quality. I am still relatively new to this so I know my pictures might not be as good as some here, but I was quite pleased with this one.

So I would appreciate your thoughts regarding what prompted the rejection. Any advice how to fix it would also be greatly appreciated.

It's oversharpened

Thank you,

I’ll try working on that and see what I can do.
If you don’t mind a follow-up question, would you say that it is an obvious or a minor flaw?
In other words was I completely blind not to see it?

Cheers

It is quite obvious to me as well. There's too much noise in the shaded areas as a result.

The noise is really apparent under the wings. Try not to oversharpen.

I do like the motive of that picture, though. Nice and colorful!

Thank you all,

Now I see the problem as well, and I will try to look out for it in the future. I’ll get on fixing the picture right away.
