Advice Wanted!

Hi all,

I just buyed the new Nikon D50.Now i'm looking for a good telelens.What is a good lens to go spotting?I was thinking of the Sigma 50-500,but i don't have the budget at the moment.Any other alternatives??Budget is around 500€

Hi Marc!

Well I use the D70 and have great results with the Nikkor lenses. These are a little pricey but work great. The 80-400 is going to run you about $1300 US give or take. I heard Sigma stuff is good too. Good luck with your D50. Enjoy it!  biggrin

The Nikkor 70-300 is not bad, for the price - and well inside your budget.

I have one. If you are in Europe and want it, it's yours for €100.

Of course, no problem at all. By the way, I'm in Luxembourg (just down the road apiece ...-)
