Question On Meaning Of NOA

Sat Nov 26, 2005 1:07 am

OK, it must have been posted before, but a little refresher won't hurt. The question is: How, if at all, does the addition of _NOA modify a rejection reason?

I've got, for example, images rejected for centered and others rejected for centeredNOA. I pretty much can interpret/understand (and most of the time even agree with!) any of the reasons given, but I'm stumped when there's a _NOA in there. What does it mean exactly? And is it an acronym of some sort?

Grateful if a screener or another knowledgeable a.netter would explain.

See reply 14 of this thread. This has been covered several times and does come up in the archive search.  thumbsup

I still use "bad" myself and I feel it doesn't confuse as much.

it means "Get That Sorry Excuse for a Photo Outta Here! You Call Yourself a Photographer?". It's a loose translation.
