Fri Dec 09, 2005 5:10 am

A review of the above camera has just been posted on the DPReview site.

I'm sure a some of you will be interested to read it.

Seems like a nice piece of kit, but as usual with so-called bridge cameras it has it shortfalls.......... Some day soon, there will be a true competitor for a DSLR. Looks like we are still waiting!

Cheers,

Martin Stephen.

For a moment, it looked like a SLR to me...
But this will be a real competition to the Lumix FZ series:
1) Wide angle
- FZ has 36mm to 420mm
- Samsung has 28mm to 420mm
2) Sensor Size
- FZ (7.18 x 5.32 mm)
- Samsung (8.80 x 6.60 mm)
3) LCD Size
- FZ has 2"
- Samsung has 3.5"
4) Price?
- FZ $600
- Samsung $800???

But is it really worth to buy a $800 SLR-like cam? Well I would prolly not...

I remember seeing this quote in some forum..."Once you go DSLR, you wont turn back...!" Invest and Reap...!
