I'm not against your thought he should forget it, but I'm interested in why he should not upload it?

Though it may not have the qualities to be accepted onto this site (might do/might not), I like it myself.

Hi Steve,

I'm afraid the shot is not an A.net material. Gate shots like these are not accepted because of all the clutter-equipment surrounding the aircraft. That's number one. Two-the photo lacks quality, there's just too much grain. Hope this helps you a bit.

Hi,

I was wondering about what was specifically wrong with it, but Ivan has said.

OK thanks for the comments.
So there is absolutely nothing that can be done with it then..?

Any advice on taking night shots through glass..?

Thanks again

Steve

Please ignore him...

How about some constructive criticism and some tips about how to improve the photo?

Anyway...

The colors seem to be a bit off...are you working on a calibrated monitor? If you have this file in raw, you might want to mess with the white balance settings.
The original seems better...other than that I'm not sure. I don't know if the ground clutter would be a problem, but the quality seems ok. Definetly needs some work in photoshop.
Check out this workflow for future reference:http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/PsProc.pdf

That will probably be because I'm colourblind.. ill

No, I don't think so

Thanks for your comments, there appears to be some hope in this type of shot after all.

If anyone wants to play with the original and show me what it could/should look like, it would be most helpful.

Thanks again

Steve
