Rare Air Force One Shot Not To Be Uploaded

Sat Dec 31, 2005 1:19 pm

I found this shot hidden in an old stack of pictures. I took it at LAX in about 1994. I thought about submitting it and thought "hell no". Getting pictures accepted here, no matter how rare, is harder than getting into Harvard or winning the lottery. And I imagine this one to be no exception. So I'll share it via a direct link.

Hi,

Think I have to agree with Jeff, one for the personal collection.

Whilst not wanting to ignite the Air Force One debate, SAM 56974 was not intended to be a Presidential A/C and AFAIK did not ever operate as Air Force One.
Sadly she was scrapped in 2004 at Wichita.

If your camera sends text messages, that could explain why your photos are rubbish!

My thought too. Matt, was the Pres onboard when you took the shot?
