Rejection, Some Advice For The Future?

Thu Jan 19, 2006 6:26 pm

Hey all,

I got this one rejected for motiv, I can see why (it's not your tipical airliners.net photo). I don't think this one can be fixed, but it doesn't hurt to get some other opinions.

thanks for the opinions,

Jurgen

There is nothing special about this particular nose - no stickers, no damage...

The rejection was correct, IMO.

I think your main problem Jurgen is the way it is cropped. Too much space at the top and to the right of frame. Close ups like this need to fill the frame.

Hope this helps .. Jid

I think the purpose was also to show the American Eagle, so hence the way it was cropped?

Quoting JRadier (Reply 4):
why I cropped it like that

Can you crop it in such a way that you show even a bit more of the bottom part of the nose?

kinda similar to these...
