Woo I'm Jumpseating Tomorrow!

Fri Jan 27, 2006 7:40 am

Hey all,

As the title says, I'll be jumpseating tomorrow EIN-LHR-EIN on the KL991/KL992. Aircraft will be a F50.
It will be at LHR at the following block times: arr 0730 - 0805 dep.

If there's anyone out at LHR at the early hours and can get a shot of the aircraft on landing/ground/take-off, it would be most appreciated.

If not, no worries Smile

Thanks,

Kas

Around those times it will be unlikely, it only gets properly light about 8:15am, with the sun being fairly weak. Certainly not great light for approach/departure shots.

Enjoy your jumpseat!

At least it'll be a bit dim outside, you can get some nice low light cockpit shots.

Where's Javier? He'll tell you what you need to know, although he's probably at 35000 feet at the moment working on his next photographer's choice.

What a lucky person you are. I've always wanted to go on the jumpseat but because of September 11 it is almost impossible for me because I don't have any contact with people working in aviation.
Anyway enjoy the ride!

Cheers!

I agree with kas, shooting low light cockpit shots is very very very hard.
