Ryanair Colours (or Colors For The Yanks)

Wed Feb 01, 2006 3:12 am

Just wondered if anybody else found the ryanair colours a little difficult to photograph as I find they often lack the sharpness of other aircraft?? Maybe it has something to do with the dark blue and white???

Believe it or not with the old 732's I thought exactly the same thing the shots almost all came out weird, thought it was just me! Haven't had much practice on the 738's yet..

Dave,

I've not noticed they need any special sharpening treatment.

I think it really depends on the amount of light in the shot, on brighter days I have had better results but on darker days my shots lack the reflectiveness of the paint work and demonstrated in the shot above. My colour tend to be a little matt, but who knows summer is on its way  cheerful   cheerful   cheerful

One of mine that's in the Q looks fine sharpness wise (lets hope the screeners think so too Big grin) and I didn't even sharpen it with photoshop  Smile
