2 Soft Rejections, Help?

Tue Feb 28, 2006 11:46 pm

Hey all,

I got 2 soft rejections yesterday, but I'm having trouble with my monitor/videocard setup. It looks as if they are good here, but I see a bit more jaggies on other airliners.net shots.

Could you tell me how soft they are?

and is there life in this quality shot?

Thanks,

Jurgen

The first one is over exposed lending to the soft rejection. You may not be able to correct for this. The second one appears to be soft in some areas and jagged in others.

I don't think its soft, you may try to appeal.

Are we looking at the same photos? None of them look overexposed to me. I would not have thought no. 1 is soft, but I suggest you try an additional touch of USM and repost it. No. 2 does look like it can take some extra USM, but watch for jaggies.

As for no. 3 I would try sharpening, bumping up the contrast and applying some noise reduction (though what looks like noise in the photo could well be rain).

For me the tail is a bit soft.

Hmmm, tricky one, but a little kick of sharpness is needed.

Looks greyish - rather a case of undercontrast.

BTW great LX A340 photo, reminds me of my trip there.
