Is This Headed For A Centre Rejection?

Wed Mar 15, 2006 5:00 pm

Just like opinions on this shot. I like something else in the frame apart from blue sky.. even if it is a shipping container depot!!

Not so sure A.net likes it as much as it can often upset the centreing criteria.

thoughts anyone?

Chris

I like it and think the 'two thirds' sort of look works here with the landscape.

Think I have stood there myself with Craig Murray!

Hello Chris.

There is no doubt in my mind that this is a better photograph for having it positioned as you have done. Having the aircraft slap bang in the middle would detract from the aesthetics of the shot.

I am really pleased to read Gary and Tim's comments, which concur with this. It is important for people to see examples where A.net's strict criteria for acceptance can be flexible if, overall, the photo benefits.

Good luck with it.

I like the shot. Nicely done!

And Gary we did stand there and for some reason I have it in my mind that we photographed a Tristar arriving?

Hi Craigo

Nope, wasn't Tristar but the spot was great anyway.

Hoping to start transferring old VHSC camcorder take onto DVD and maybe send you one of that day.

Anyway, hope to see Chris' image on the database soon.

Regards

Gary
