Is It Blurred?

Fri Mar 17, 2006 9:52 pm

I had this one rejected by a screener in training for blurry.

Would just appreciate others thoughts on if an appeal is justified - I can't see any point in reworking it if the image is indeed blurry.

No reason to appeal. Its very very jaggered.

Should be fixable though.

I'm on a laptop at the minute Steve and it looks a tad oversharpened overall (this screen does make things look too sharp), I can't see any blurred areas though.

Usually with shots like that, I find it is the edge of the rudder that gets slightly blurred, but I can't see that here.

Regards,

Tim.

Hi all

Have to say I think the image looks good!

I am finding it hard to see the jaggies.

Jaggies on the U.S. flag, on my monitor at least.

I dont think its too bad either. The flag and titles are jagged and the nose might be a bit blurry on the original compensated by a little too much sharpening. Should be fixable I believe. Otherwise nice shot!

Looks ok... Some jaggies on top of the engine and where the white fuselage hits the grey belly, but nothing very serious...

To add to what others have already noted, I can see some jaggies on the tail, where the dark blue meets white paint. Also a little bit on the leading edge of the wing. Otherwise it's a nice shot!

Hi all

OK, can see some jaggies now.

This is the reason I screen at home and not during lunch at work.

Gary, can you do all my screening? wink

Doh! banghead

OK, I won't appeal, but I'll rework it and try again. Thanks for the input guys.

Steve

Process the image, duplicate the layer and then rub them out.

Apart from the minor jaggies, it's a nice image.

Gary
