I have this shot I took while I was putzing around ABQ, obviously it's not an upload (quality issues) but I'm curious to know what people's opinions are on those pesky fence things (shut up if you're from Amsterdam ). Anyway, here's the shot:
In my humble opinion, the fence doesn't detract from the subject, rather adds to it by putting it into perspective. When I look at the photo, my eyes immediately hit the fuselage of the aircraft, the fence, as small as it is, doesn't cover the fuselage.
My point that I'm trying to make (though from lack of sleep and it being 1am here I'm finding it difficult to make) is that fences can, even when covering parts of the aircraft, still be important to a photo.
What say the general public then? I'd like to if nothing else hear some opinions and start some interesting discussion on the matter.
